Transfer Credit accepted by 麻豆视频:

麻豆视频 accepts credit earned at other regionally accredited institutions of higher education, including credit through Post-Secondary Enrollment Options and College in the Schools, and through the International Baccalaureate (IB-HL) and Advanced Placement (AP) credit-by-exam programs. Students can transfer a maximum of 16 麻豆视频 course credits equivalents (64 semester or 96 quarter credits) from a combination of other accredited institutions and International Baccalaureate and Advanced Placements exams. To receive a degree from 麻豆视频, students must be enrolled full-time for two academic years (17 course minimum), including the senior year. Exceptions to the senior residency requirement must be approved by the Provost.

For Current Students: 

Acceptance of specific courses and their application to a 麻豆视频 degree must be pre-approved by the Registrar and/or the appropriate academic Department Chair.

    • Grade point averages do not transfer to 麻豆视频 and grades from transfer courses are not part of the 麻豆视频 GPA. 
    • 麻豆视频 students planning transfer coursework must submit a prior to registering.
    • 麻豆视频 students may appeal a decision about how their credits were transfered by submitting a . 

For Incoming Students:

    • Credits will be evaluated by the Registrar's Office. Prior to admission, please have official transcripts, sent directly from the school, to admission@gustavus.edu. Once you are registered for courses have official transcripts sent to registrar@gustavus.edu. 
    • Students who were PSEO or took College in the Schools courses must send an official transcript from the college. Credits will not be transferred using the high school transcript.

Transfer of College Credit From Other Institutions 

Credit is awarded only after receipt of an official transcript from the host institution and is subject to the following: 

  1. One 麻豆视频 course is the equivalent of four semester or six quarter credits. 
  2. Courses must be from another regionally accredited institution of higher education. 
  3. Courses must not be a repeat of previous coursework nor more elementary than previous coursework. 
  4. Courses must be appropriate for a college liberal arts curriculum as determined by the 麻豆视频 Registrar in consultation with faculty. 
  5. Courses must be graded 鈥淐鈥撯 or higher. 
  6. Internships must meet 麻豆视频 academic requirements and be approved in advance.
