Administrative Coordinator in Admission

As of February 3, 2024, Ann joined the Admission office as Administrative Coordinator.  She will supervise the Gustie Tour Guides, assist with the Admission and Marketing budgets, and assist with events.  Ann will continue to work on the signature events of the College including Nobel Conference, Christmas in Christ Chapel and Commencement.  She manages all incoming calls and emails for Admission, Marketing, Nobel Conference, Christmas in Christ Chapel and Commencement.  She also is the link between campus communications and the retired staff.

In July 2018, Ann joined the Marketing and Communication team as the Executive Assistant.  She assisted the Vice President of Marketing.  She worked on signature events of the College including: Nobel Conference, Christmas in Christ Chapel, Commencement and A Royal Affair along with other events on campus.  This included implementation of assigned seats in Chapel for Christmas in Christ Chapel.  Ann managed the Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ University Tickets for public events.  She also managed the student employees of the Marketing office.

After working in Advancement since September 1997, Ann served as office manager and assistant to the vice president for advancement.  She has extensive experience in budgeting, leadership events at the college, fund-raising, and skilled in Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, google docs, Ellucian and Reeher. She coordinated the logistics for donor visits, events, and companion tour work.  Ann coordinated events for advancement including President's Dinner, leadership events, solicitation events, inauguration, former trustee events, campaign events and National Summit Meetings of Commission Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ 150. Other events she worked at includes: Nobel Conference, Symposiums, Homecoming, Reunions, Royal Affair, GIVE Day, Sesquicentennial and all aspects of The Royal Visit.  Ann supported the Trusteeship committee of the Board of Trustees, the Rebuilding a Greater Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ (campaign cabinet), the Football Field Committee and the Institutional Advancement sub-committee of the Board of Trustees.

Ann began at Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ as the assistant in The Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ Fund office in September 1997 and was promoted to administrative assistant to the vice president for institutional advancement in April 2000.  In the spring of 2015, Ann was promoted to Officer Manager of the Advancement office.  Ann received the Augusta Carlson Schultz Award in October 2015 and the "Honorary Gustie" Award in November 2018 from the Alumni Association Board of Directors.

Ann (Wenner) is a fifth-generation, lifelong St. Peter resident and graduate of St. Peter High School. Ann is married to Jeff Volk and they have three beautiful daughters: Jordan (Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ Class of '12), Taylor (Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ Class of '13) and Bailey (Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ Class of '16).  Ann enjoys her grandma time with her four adorable grandchildren.

Ann advises Colleges Against Cancer on campus, co-chairs the Relay For Life of Nicollet County, serves as Executive Secretary on the Nicollet County Fair Board, and as the Secretary of the District 2 Chapter of the Minnesota Federation of County Fairs.  Ann was the advisor for Ambassadors that represented the student body at signature events of the College.
