Serial Numbers
A Serial Number is a unique number assigned for the identification of product. More specifically, software serial numbers are distributed by the company producing the product, and often act as activation codes which are necessary for installation of the software.
Serial numbers are often found on a physical piece of hardware, or contained in documentation within a software package. You may find serial numbers of Â鶹ÊÓƵ software in their installation directories and of Â鶹ÊÓƵ hardware on the Technology Services hardwarebase Filemaker server.
