Motherboard
The motherboard is what connects all the hardware in your computer. This includes the hard drive, optical drives, floppy drives, processor, memory, video card, fans, and other hardware that may be installed on the system. Many motherboards come with some of the hardware built in. This is especially true for laptop computers.
