Monitors are display devices that allow users to use their computers. Most new monitors are flat panel monitors that are more energy efficient, brighter, and lighter. Older monitors use CRT technology and take up more energy and space. Most campus monitors are flat panel monitors and most new desktop systems are sold with flat panel monitors.
