Windows Vista is an operating system made by Microsoft Corporation. Windows Vista poses many more security risks than other operating systems, like Mac OS X or Linux. Therefore, Technology Services requires Windows machines connected to our network to meet certain basic requirements:

  1. Your computer must have the most recent Windows updates
  2. Your computer must have Symantec Anti-Virus installed and have updated virus definitions
