The Amazon Echo is a wireless speaker and voice controlled computer manufactured by Amazon.com.
How to register on the 鶹Ƶ Network
This device will not work on the 鶹Ƶ Secure Network. You must connect to the 鶹Ƶ network. To register your echo on the 鶹Ƶ network, obtain the echo's MAC address by following the steps below. Once you have the mac address, please contact GTS at 507-933-6111 or helpline@gac.edu and provide us with the MAC address so that we can assist with registration.
Finding the MAC address
1. In the Alexa app, open the left navigation panel and then select Settings.
2. Select your device and then select Update Wi-Fi. OR If you're adding a new device to your account, select Set up a new device instead.
3 To connect to a network, tap the network and follow the prompts on the screen. Select the 鶹Ƶ Wi-Fi network.
4. You will find the MAC address by scrolling down to the bottom of the page.
