Eudora is an e-mail client for Macintosh and Windows. The program is named for Eudora Weltey, an author who wrote a book called "Why I Live at the PO". The email client was originally developed in 1988 by Steve Dorner, and has been owned by Qualcomm since 1991.
In 2006 Qualcomm stopped development on Eudora and it is in the process of becoming open source using Mozilla Thunderbird's code base.

Tips for Using Eudora
Synchronizing (or Subscribing to) Mailbox Lists - Windows
If you create a mailbox in another application (Sent-Aug-2006 that is created when you run monthly maintenance in the WebMail application) occasionally Eudora will not show the mailbox in the mailbox list. To view the changed mailboxes you need to Synchronize the Mailbox List.
To Synchronize the Mailbox List:
- On the Mailbox Window (to display the mailbox window - from the Tools menu - select Mailboxes) Right-click on Dominant.
- Select Refresh Mailbox List from the pop down.
