Equipment

The Culpeper Language Center computer lab currently contains 25 Macintosh-based computers, one HP Laserjet 4100 printer, a digital projector, DVD player, VCR and media cart containing a television, international VCR and DVD player. The Center's international television and DVD viewing station has a 42 inch LCD flat screen TV, connected to a region-free DVD player, multi-region VCR, and DISH Network receiver. The Culpeper's DISH Network subscription includes international programing for Spanish, German, French, Russian and Japanese. The Center's media development station includes two ReplayTVs, and three DISH receivers, an international VCR, DVD, and MiniDV dubbing system as well as a Macintosh computer containing media editing programs such as iMovie and iDVD, as well as an iSight webcam and microphone for video/audio chatting and pod/vod-casting.
