A hard quota is 150% of your quota. For example, if you have a quota of 250 megabytes then your hard quota would be 375 megabytes.
What happens when I reach it?
At this point, there are several things that can happen.
- E-mail that you send will not be saved.
- You are no longer able to delete any e-mail.
- You are no longer able to move e-mail from any of your mailboxes to a different one except the trash.
- You will still receive e-mail in your Inbox.
How do I fix this?
You can call the Technology Helpline and speak with a consultant to help you delete messages and empty your trash until you are underneath your quota.
