VideoCue is a computer program for Mac OS X that is used in conjunction with a webcam to quickly make compressed videos, ideal for video blogs, vodcasting, or just practicing speeches and presentations. 鶹Ƶ has two stations set up for people wishing to use VideoCue: one in the ground floor of the Folke Bernadotte Memorial Library, and one in the Culpeper Language Center's Media development station.

Using VideoCue in the Library

  • Sit down, log into the computer, position the iSight to your liking, and click start.
  • The program will start recording when the words reach the red area and the camera comes on.
  • When you are done, hit stop. The program will then ask if you would like to view the video, re-do the video, or save the video.
  • When you are satisfied with the product, choose to save the video. The program will then automatically save it to a web folder and e-mail you the link. With that link you can view, share, or download the video.
