This procedure should apply to any recent Linux distribution that uses system-config-printer.  Such distributions include Fedora 9, Ubuntu 8.04, and later distributions running the GNOME desktop.
 
 
All 鶹Ƶ residence halls have [[HP Laserjet 4350]] printers.  Most Linux distributions should have the drivers installed already. To check, you can see if a file exists here: /usr/share/ppd/openprinting/HP/HP_LaserJet_4350.ppd.gz.

* Go to "System > Administration > Printing".

We recommend using [[Google_Cloud_Print | Google Cloud print]] or [[Web_Print | Web print]] or [[Email_to_print | Email to print]] on linux.
**Click "New".
 
**Select "Other".
 
**In the box on the right, enter the URL corresponding to the printer you wish to add from the table below.

**When it asks for the model of printer, select HP and LaserJet 4350.  Use the default choice for the driver.
