Leila is currently a senior Political Science major with a Gender, Women, and Sexuality & Sociology and Anthropology double minor at 鶹Ƶ. After graduation she plans on working to improve rights pertaining to ethnic and sexual minority groups.
On campus her freshman year she played on the women's soccer team, but now is part of the . She has worked at GTS since January 2011. In the summer of 2012 she worked as an intern at the . She has also interned at .
This summer she worked as an intern at the U.S. House of Representatives - District Office in St. Paul, MN. She's currently an interning for the at the Greater Minnesota Racial Justice Project in Mankato, MN.
