Media Services provides event support for a number of events at 鶹Ƶ, including the Nobel Conference, Christmas in Christ Chapel, Mayday!, and Commencement. Media Services also provides support for dozens of other events, large and small, throughout the year.

You may request Media Services to assist you with a scheduled event in support of the College's strategic plan. You are responsible for communicating your needs with us. Furthermore, we require two weeks advance notice for all events. Please plan ahead; we need this time to prepare for event setup, including reserving equipment and scheduling staff for the event.

How to submit requests

Event requests may be submitted using VirtualOffice on the Media Services website at .

Questions

If you have questions, you may contact Media Services by calling x7459 or sending an e-mail to mediaservices@gustavus.edu. We look forward to working with you.

Room guide

See the Media Services room guide (public), which includes information on many of the rooms that are often used for events we support. Note that these are not the only rooms we work in, just the rooms most commonly used.

Other event resources

You may find the Event Planning Checklist from the Office of Communications and Marketing helpful when planning your event. This guide includes names and contact information for the staff that schedule many of the rooms on campus. The guide also discusses the procedures for reserving tables and requesting catering from other offices on campus. See:

Also, you might find the room schedule on the Gribly to be helpful. See: . Although this guide does not include all scheduled usage for each room, it includes a basic list of the classes that use each room. For complete availability, anyone interested in scheduling a room should contact the primary scheduling contact for that room.
