There are a few things you will need to know. Logging In  To log on to Windows, use your e-mail username (username) and the password changeme. To change your Windows (logon) password, press and hold the ctrl, alt, and del keys after logging on. Click the Change Password button. This will not change your e-mail password. E-E-mail passwords can be changed at the following web site:  HYPERLINK "https://gts.gac.edu/gts/tools" https://gts.gac.edu/gts/tools We suggest making your Windows password the same as your e-mail password. Your Files  All of your data from your MyData or MyLocaldata folder has been moved into c:\MyDocuments. You can access this by clicking on the Start button in the lower left hand corner and clicking on the My Documents icon. We have also restored your e-mail, bookmarks, templates, and desktop. Backups  There is a program on your computer to backup your data to your CDRW drive. It is called Nero and will automatically begin the backup at 3 pm on Fridays. You will be prompted for a recordable CD (CD-R). You can purchase these from the Bookmark. Note that this will only backup items in your accounts Documents and Settings folder. If you save all of your documents in your MyDocuments folder, all of your files will be backed up. This will also include files saved on your desktop. Other Applications and Information  We have tested Microsoft Word, insert their email client here, Mozilla Firefox, and any other programs that you had made us aware of when we scheduled your cascade. We have reinstalled your printers. Please let us know if you need any additional assistance. Your computer hard drive was completely backed up to our secured backup server and we have removed your old hard drive and will be keeping it in storage for two months to make sure that all of your old data has been transferred to your new system. Please make sure to go through your all of your data, within these two months. You will be receiving CDs containing the files from your MyData or MyLocalData folder and from your Profile or Documents and Settings folder from your old computer.
