Creating .pdf files
To create .pdf files from paper documents:
- Go to the copier/fax machine by Teri’s desk.
- Place document(s) face up in the top tray.
- Select email option.
- Select “From” and put in Teri Bauman’s name.
- Select “To” and type in the recipient.
- Select “Subject” and type “pdf files requested.”
- Press start.
- The machine will ask you if you want to keep the settings. Press no.
For double-sided documents:
- After the “From,” “To,” and “Subject” headings have been filled out, click on the button that says email settings.
- Click on the button on the left that says describe original.
- Select the two-sided option.
- Press “OK” twice and then press start.
NOTE: We do NOT scan in documents from a book – pieces of paper only.
